The idea is simple: I wanted to make living inside a pineapple feel believable.

To me, Solarpunk is about embracing nature and finding sustainable ways to live alongside it. In this concept, humanity has discovered how to grow plants to enormous sizes, turning them into renewable resources and even homes.

I chose the pineapple because it's one of the most versatile fruits in the world. Its tough outer skin is so durable that some researchers have even explored using its fibers for protective materials. It can also be processed into bioethanol for fuel, while its acidic juice has potential applications in bioelectricity. The leaves and other leftover parts can be recycled into biomaterials for 3D-printed structural components. And on top of all that... it tastes great. Yes, it definitely belongs on pizza.
